Turning Ideas into Experiences
Tilted is an award-winning production company founded by Sam Hodges. Tilted develops and produces new content, including musicals, plays, films, and podcasts adapted for the stage.
In collaboration with acclaimed pop-writer Miranda Cooper, they commission, develop and produce develop new British musicals that harness the music and theatre’s most exciting writing talent to disrupt the sector. Their slate is focused on original, unique and entertaining stories where the demand for a fresh, modern sonic and live performance is undeniable.
In collaboration with Eleanor Lloyd, they produce Tilted Sessions, live stage shows based on award-winning podcasts, including sell-out national tours of the hit podcast Uncanny.
Tilted also manages one of the UK’s largest theatre investment funds in partnership with tech entrepreneur and investor Simon Nixon, through which it finances and co-produces commercial theatre ventures globally.

Tilted was founded from inside the rehearsal room. We develop new plays, musicals and adaptations through close creative involvement — working hands-on with writers and directors from the earliest stages, and staying present through production, touring and beyond.
Alongside that artistic leadership, we bring serious commercial thinking: long-term investment partnerships, one of the most substantial independent data sets in UK theatre, and the experience to build strategies that allow work to grow, travel and endure.
We don’t just produce shows. We build the conditions for exceptional work to exist — creatively, commercially and at scale.
